I am blessed to have had the opportunity to make use of several venues for emotional, mental and physical healing. I am GRATEFUL for having had those opportunities; and bless those in that line of service.
As a result, I LEARNED I am ALLOWED to make MY OWN Holiday Traditions! STRESS FREE! *hee hee
THE HA HA HELEN HOLIDAY-STYLE method:
I CHOOSE to go out in public where people are shopping, or working; and SHARE SMILES!
I also share a KINDNESS here and there. One example is offering to return someone’s shopping cart.
This year, I visited 3 shopping malls in the area. As I walked, I SHARED A SMILE! I handed out my *SMILE! YOU’RE GREAT! mini-mirror on a popsicle stick OUTLOOK SHIFT ENGINEERING tools. I ask a person if they would like it. If not, THAT’S OKAY TOO! I let them know it is OK to just BE with no judgement from me! *hee hee
I GET THE MOST WONDERFUL RESPONSES!
One woman got a BIG SMILE on her FACE and asked: AM I TO PASS THIS ON TO SOMEONE ELSE? I responded: If you wish! The GIFT IS in the GIVING! If it BRINGS YOU JOY, go ahead! I offered to give her another one for herself, but she was happy with the JOY of PASSING IT ON!
I saw a woman sitting with her young teen son, inside a mall. The son seemed kind of serious or down. I walked over and ASKED if they would like one of my *SMILE! YOU’RE GREAT! If you ever LOSE your SMILE, look in the mirror to find it, tools? The YOUNG BOY INSTANTLY got a SLIGHT smile on his face. The mom took it and said: MY SON WAS JUST TELLING ME HE ISN’T HAPPY. The young boy was wearing a BRIGHT YELLOW sweatshirt jacket. I let him know YELLOW agitates the brain and INSPIRES LEARNING! I told him I was ATTRACTED to the BRIGHT YELLOW and he MADE ME HAPPIER by wearing that color! HE GOT A BIGGER SMILE ON HIS FACE!
Sometimes, ALL WE NEED TO DO IS – – – – – JUST BE. We never know how we may impact another’s day or moment.
Just the SHARING of a SOFT SMILE can UPLIFT and IMPACT another person’s day!
